‘Zo. Nu eerst een Bavaria' returns in national cross-media campaign in the Netherlands

Craft and enjoyment come together in the new, ‘Zo. Nu eerst een Bavaria’ (So, and now first a Bavaria) campaign, developed by Fama Volat. The family brewer from Lieshout has been brewing Bavaria beer for many generations with malt from their own malt house and water from their own mineral water source. Brewing is a craft that has been practised for 300 years with great passion at Brewery Bavaria. Once the serious work is done and enjoyment starts, a Bavaria will taste the best. The new ‘Zo. Nu eerst een Bavaria moment’ is the turning point. The campaign can be viewed from 5 October onwards.

“Brewing is our craft, enjoyment is our life”, shared Florent Renders, Marketer Bavaria at Swinkels Family Brewers. "We are the brewer that holds a vivacious view of life but is very serious about brewing beer at the same time. In this new TV commercial, and with the familiar Bavaria wink, we highlight the ingredients, the passion and the knowledge with which we brew our beer. At the end of the day it's all about enjoying life which is exactly what makes Bavaria what it is today, a combination of craftsmanship and our exuberant lifestyle. “Zo. Nu eerst een Bavaria’ plays a key role in this because it is this particular moment and this feeling which perfectly portrays the transition between these two worlds”.

At home in the Netherlands
Bavaria expects that the new campaign will greatly appeal to the consumer in its home region – Brabant – but definitely also outside this region. "We are a Brabant brewer and proud of our ancestry. We do not only brew for Brabant, but for the entire Netherlands. This new campaign underlines that", according to Renders. "We will take the whole of the Netherlands along in our story in this no-nonsense cross-media campaign that will kick off on 5 October." In addition to the TV commercial the campaign will be shown on social media, there will be digital shelter displays at stations and in city centres and plenty of motivational campaigns on the shop floor. The beer brand also sponsors Veronica Inside and has done so from the start of the new season.
