Royal Swinkels 'Sustainable Brewery of the Year' for third consecutive year

Royal Swinkels has been named the world’s most sustainable brewery for the third year in a row during the Icons of Beer. Thanks to various new projects and initiatives over the past year, the brewer and maltster Royal Swinkels can once again call itself ‘Sustainable Brewery of the Year’ in 2025. Recent investments, such as the construction of a hot water buffer and the installation of an electric boiler, complement previously completed sustainability projects like the emission-free malthouse in Eemshaven last year. The World Beer Awards annually recognize companies that make a significant impact on the global beer industry.
