Business Controller

Lieshout (NL)32 - 40 hours per week

As an ambitious Business Controller, you will be responsible for providing (financial) insights and further improving the profitability of certain regions within the Export Business Unit. In this Business Unit we sell our beers all over the world, to regions such as APAC, Americas, UK and Europe. In this role, you will have full P&L responsibility for your regions and act as the right hand of the Business Unit Controller Export.

What Will You Do?

  • As a Business Controller, you will be the financial sparring partner for the management of various regions.
  • Manage the profitability of products, customers, and channels, with an emphasis on pricing, cost control, and volume performance.
  • Prepare periodic management reports and analyse the results, involving various departments such as sales and marketing.
  • Identify growth opportunities, ask critical questions, and provide independent advice (both solicited and unsolicited).
  • Participate in the month-end process, taking care of certain financial administrative tasks.  
  • Responsible for preparing forecasts and budgets.
  • Review (financial) processes and implement improvement actions.
  • Travel on occasional basis.

 

Who Are You?

  • You are looking for a great next step in your finance career.
  • You have a completed Bachelors/Masters degree in economics or business administration or equivalent and have 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to keep a high level perspective
  • You are communicative, proactive, and able to clearly convey financial figures to the business.
  • You have a hands-on mentality.
  • You have a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • International experience is a plus
  • You are comfortable with Excel, and have experience with ERP tooling (e.g. SAP).
  • You are based in the Netherlands.
  • You have good communications skills in English, conversational Dutch proficiency is required.

Response
