Finance Manager UK

The Finance Manager  is responsible for the finance function of Swinkels Family Brewers UK Limited, part of Royal Swinkels. The role is commercially focused while being involved in and having overall responsibility for financial reporting. The Finance Manager will work alongside the other functional heads in the UK to manage the UK business unit. We are looking for an ambitious manager that helps to provide the business with more insights. You are the financial business partner for the UK.

What are you going to do? 

  • You will manage product and channel profitability, with a focus on pricing, cost control and volume performance
  • You will deliver periodic reporting and analysis of performance both in the UK and to Head Office in the Netherlands
  • You will act as the Financial lead on annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and business reviews for the UK
  • You will be responsible for a small team that manages Financial Accounting, HR, Payroll and AP/AR processing for the UK
  • Maintain oversight of changes in the UK market: new or revised legislation, excise rule changes, and the evolution of Brexit
  • You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to understand strategy, spending and return on investment
  • You will partake in the period-end, year-end and annual audit

 

Who are you? 

  • You are experienced in working with, challenging and influencing non-financial stakeholders
  • You can work as part of cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships
  • 5+ years post-qualified experience with a recognised UK accountancy body
  • You are experienced with working in licensed trade and/or FMCG environment is desirable
