Our Business Unit Middle East Africa is responsible for the sales and marketing of our brands across the region. We strongly believe that long-term brand success is built through close, local partnerships. Achieving this takes strong collaboration between sales and marketing teams worldwide.

To further strengthen our MEA (Middle East & Africa) sales team, we are looking for a Sales Manager Western Africa. In this role, you contribute to driving sales growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with our local partners. Our MEA sales team has already built a solid distribution network and established a strong market position for our brands (Smalt, 8.6, Hollandia).

In this role, you combine business development, brand building, investments and data-driven insights. Within your region, you take ownership for further growing the business and brands in a sustainable and entrepreneurial way.

What are you going to do?

  • You are responsible for sales activities across several countries in Western Africa, working closely with local partners to strengthen collaboration, grow our brands and explore new business opportunities and routes to market.

  • Together with our marketeers and strategic partners, you help implement value management and brand marketing programs.

  • You support, coach and guide our partners and contribute to the development, alignment and negotiation of commercial plans for the different countries.

This is you

  • You have a commercial Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree and several years of experience (around 3–5 years) in an international or export sales role.

  • You bring hands-on commercial experience within the FMCG market, and are motivated to take the next step in an international environment.

  • You enjoy building relationships and have shown that you can contribute to growing brands and commercial value.

  • You are fluent in French and English. An additional African language or Arabic is a strong plus.

  • You have the flexibility to work in a hybrid way, with the opportunity to spend part of your working time at our Lieshout office.

  • You are flexible in where you work and willing to travel within the region.
