Business unit Middle East Africa (MEA) is the business unit within Royal Swinkels that focusses on delivering sustainable growth in the MEA region. 

We are, as a team, on a very interesting journey /growth path in the overall MEA region. While we are successfully moving from a more traditional export model to local production, we are relaunching our most successful Malt brand (Bavaria Smalt) at the same time.

In this role, you are a key player within our team and you have the responsibility for building this renewed Malt based Soft drink in key markets within our region. You set portfolio priorities and build our different brands in line with the brand strategy.

Royal Swinkels Lieshout (NL) 32 - 40 hours per week

What are you going to do?

  • Implement and carry out brand and business strategies in major internal localization initiatives to substantially further our company's brand and business goals.
  • Execute important local above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) marketing efforts.
  • Manage new product and packaging initiatives, encompassing the collection of business case data and approval of designs.
  • Monitor and interpret consumer feedback and brand performance within the region to unearth prospects for expansion.
  • Foster and maintain solid partnerships with essential stakeholders both within and outside of the organization.

 

Who are you?

  • Residing in The Netherlands or Belgium, you are able to make weekly visits to the Lieshout office.
  • You take initiative, manage complex projects effectively, possess a Marketing or Communication degree, and bring 4-5 years of experience in marketing.
  • Your background includes FMCG or beverage industry work, or experience adapting global brand strategies to local markets.
  • Your interpersonal skills are robust, with a good grasp of the MEA market and experience in business development.
  • You demonstrate sharp analytical and communication abilities, are proficient in English and another European language (knowledge of Arabic is advantageous), have a driving license, and enjoy traveling.

Response
