Royal Swinkels is exploring new business opportunities. One of those opportunities is the no/low alcohol wine business. The Business Development Manager Wine is responsible for building and scaling the wine portfolio in the Dutch retail, with supporting responsibilities for Germany. In Germany you work closely together with a distribution partner with experience in the wine business. This role owns commercial execution in the Netherlands and reports to the Head of New Drinks.

Furthermore, you track and improve rate-of-sale, rotation, and distribution by store, SKU, and channel.
You also lead in-store activations, including sampling and tastings, to drive trial and conversion.
In your role you also collaborate with the German market team on customer rollouts and translate proven commercial bright spots into execution across the Netherlands and Germany.
Who you are

You are a team player driving cross-functional alignment internally while solving problems with optimism and persistence.
People describe you as a ‘door-opener’ with a ‘never give up’ mentality and ownership mindset. You persist through setbacks and act proactively.
In addition to lots of fun and occasionally tasting delicious beer with your colleagues, you can also count on the following:

30 vacation days, travel expenses, and home office allowances.
A good pension scheme and discounts on additional health insurance premiums.
Discounts on sports activities in our fitness room or at more than 600 sports locations in the Netherlands.
Significant discounts on our products in the "Dare to Drink Different" staff shop.
Always opportunities for development. Besides learning "on the job," we have a Swinkels Academy, where you can follow various training and education programs.
